That’s a Wrap 2018!

Wow, what an interesting year for both real estate in the Waterloo Region and for my business!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season with their families. I’d like to thank my fabulous clients and MRES colleagues for their trust in me and my real estate service offering. It’s a true honour to assist my buyers and sellers with their real estate endeavours and it’s a responsibility I take very seriously.

Real estate is a competitive industry, it seems almost everyone has a ‘gimmick’. However, those that work with me know that’s not my style. I offer industry knowledge, open communication and a willingness to do what it takes to get you the information you need to make the RIGHT decision about your largest investment, while guiding you through the process at your own pace.

Real estate is a career I’ve pursued truly out of passion. I’m passionate about homes yes, but mostly people. I love getting to know my clients and nothing is more rewarding then helping them move forward in their life through a successful purchase or sale of a home.

My philosophy is to provide you with an open and honest summary of the facts and inform you of any ‘red flags’ I spot.  It’s ensuring you know the full scope of the situation when in negotiators or multiple offers and leveraging all my resources and relationships to advocate on your behalf. It’s not ‘selling’ you on a property rather, supporting you through the process so that you know a home is the ‘one’ when you see it. It’s an open dialog to help you weigh the pros and cons from all angles so you can make a realistic decision you’re comfortable with, without regrets.

I’ve never aspired to have my face on a bus or a park bench and have no interest in trying to compete with that. I’m here to help those that that want an agent who puts their needs above any self-interest. Clients who appreciate my patience, honesty, openness and exceptional results.

The ‘honour system’ is the approach I take with my clients. I’ll show you 100 homes without ever making you sign a contract. I want you to work with me because you see the value and effort I bring, not because of a contractual obligation. Has this ever burned me in the past? Absolutely, but at the end of the day being authentic in my approach has opened far more doors than it’s ever closed.

With that said, I’d like to again thank everyone who has used, supported and recommend my business. Every client is greatly appreciated and valued. Every referral or recommendation is the biggest complement I could possibly receive.
